IPADA Partners NBCC, D Evans Consulting on Africa-US Trade, Investment

....The partnership will focus on trade missions, investment matchmaking, workforce development, tourism and diaspora engagement ahead of IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026.

IPADA Initiatives has signed a partnership with the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) and D Evans Consulting Inc. to promote trade, investment, tourism and workforce development between Africa, the United States and the wider African diaspora.

The organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 29 July, ahead of the planned opening of the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026 on 3 December.

The partnership aims to connect businesses, investors, governments and other institutions across the participating regions.

What the partnership covers

Under the agreement, IPADA Initiatives will focus on diaspora engagement, tourism, cultural exchange, government relations and investment promotion in Africa.

The NBCC will use its business networks to support trade, investment, market access and partnerships between US and African businesses.

D Evans Consulting will provide investment-readiness programmes, workforce development, executive education and strategic advisory services.

The partners said they would also pursue trade missions, investment forums, business-to-business and government-to-business matchmaking, cross-border partnerships and public-private partnerships.

They also identified regional economic development projects and tourism and cultural exchanges as areas for joint work.

Why it matters

The partnership comes as African countries seek to attract more foreign investment while encouraging stronger commercial links with the African diaspora.

For Nigeria and other African economies, the potential benefit lies in converting diaspora relationships and cultural connections into business activity, skills development and investment.

The partners said the agreement would create opportunities for business expansion, investment and workforce transformation.

“This partnership represents more than a Memorandum of Understanding—it is a commitment to building sustainable pathways for trade, investment, workforce transformation and economic empowerment between Africa and the Global African Diaspora,” the partners stated.

The partners said they were ready to work with governments, chambers of commerce, investors, educational institutions, development organisations and private-sector leaders.

What happens next?

The next major milestone is the IPADA Initiatives Celebrations 2026, scheduled to open on 3 December.

The partners are expected to use the programme to advance discussions around trade, tourism, investment and diaspora engagement.
