Veteran Nigerian actor Francis Odega has drawn reactions online after appearing as a character resembling Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike in a new comedy skit.
The performance, produced by actor and content creator Diamond Okechi, sees Odega reproduce some of Wike’s familiar gestures, expressions and mannerisms.
The clip has prompted viewers on X to comment on how closely the performance resembles the minister.

The comments reflect the central joke of the video: Odega’s performance is close enough to Wike’s public persona for some viewers to briefly play along with the idea that the minister had appeared in a comedy production.
